The independently adjustable KW V3 coilover suspension kit is now available for the 204 hp Hyundai i20 N. Compared to the very sporty Hyundai i20 N series suspension, the KW coilover suspension kit gives the hatchback an impressive balanced ride comfort paired with a significant increase in driving dynamics.
Adjust the depth of your ride to your preferences with KW V1 coilovers. You are offered the freedom to adjust the continuous lowering of your car according to your demands. Keep in mind that once installed, further customization of the damper setup is not possible. However, we assure when the KW V1 dampers leave our headquarters, they are perfectly configured to suit your specific car model, ensuring optimal performance right from the start. Like the KW V3, the KW V1 allows for lowering the Hyundai i20 N (Type BC3) by 10 to 30 millimeters. This not only enhances the car's center of gravity but also enhances its agility on the road, delivering a dynamic driving experience.
Manufactured in Germany at KW automotive, the KW V3 coilover suspension features struts and damper housing made of a high-quality stainless steel alloy. The lowering is adjusted on the stainless steel struts through the composite spring plate and the trapezoidal thread. The rear axle is lowered by the so-called rear axle height adjustment.
The part certificate covers a stepless lowering adjustment range from 10 to 30 millimeters on both axles of the Hyundai i20 N (BC3). However, the KW V3 coilover suspension is capable of much more than maximum lowering. Compared to the very sporty Hyundai i20 N standard suspension, the KW V3 gives the small car an impressive balanced ride comfort along with a substantial plus in driving dynamics.
If the preset setup is too comfortable or too firm for some drivers their Hyundai i20 N, the damping in the low-speed range of the compression and rebound damping on the KW V3 can be individually adjusted with just a few simple steps. Twelve clicks are available for the low-speed compression stage and 16 clicks for the low-speed rebound stage. The tuning of the damper setup is done by hand directly on the chassis via the purple adjustment knobs.
When very high vertical wheel accelerations occur, the high-speed valves preconfigured in damper production open, and the wheels can compress when driving over bridge cross connections or road bumps. As a result, sporty, harmonious damping is achieved even when driving on poorly maintained back roads. Anyone with a KW V3 coilover suspension in a modern vehicle such as the Hyundai i20 N will be amazed at how sporty the small car drives, and this with a much smoother and more comfortable ride compared with a conventional suspension.
