Driving comfort and driving pleasure for the VW Bus / Multivan (T5/T6) with KW coilover suspension kits
For decades, generations of people feel at home in a VW Bus and that also applies to the current series, with the T6 being more of a facelift of the VW T5 series. We have developed various KW coilovers for the VW Bus T5 and T6 which are popular for families, craftsmen and active campers.
With the KW coilover suspensions made of stainless steel, an increased driving comfort and driving dynamics is a gain for every VW Bus driver. In addition, our KW coilovers give the T5 and T6 a significant plus in driving dynamics and safety in conjunction with a stylish lowering. The stepless lowering is carried out on all KW coilovers for the VW Bus (T5 / T6) via the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread directly on the stainless steel strut and on the rear axle height adjustment.
On both axles, the VW can individually be lowered within the tested setting range. As one of the few manufacturers, we offer our extensive suspension range also for the popular 4motion all-wheel-drive models of the Multivan, Transporter and Caravan.
KW coilover suspension Variant 1, KW Street Comfort und Variant 3
KW Variant 1: With its pre-configured KW damper setup, the "Variant 1" offers the optimum balance of sportiness and everyday practicality.
KW Street Comfort: If the standard suspension, depending on the selected equipment, should be too hard in everyday life or if the lowering springs work too unharmonious with the standard shock absorbers in long term, the KW Street Comfort coilover suspension is the ideal solution for more driving comfort.
DThe shorter KW damper housings allow a comfortable residual spring travel. In addition, the rebound damping can be adjusted with 16 clicks either more comfortable or tighter.
KW Variant 3: The perfect symbiosis of more driving dynamics, everyday practicality and adjustment options is offered by the KW coilovers Variant 3.
In addition to a stepless lowering, also a separate rebound and compression stage adjustment is possible. 16 exact clicks in rebound and 12 exact clicks in compression damping.

The adaptive and electronically adjustable KW DDC Plug & Play coilovers are available for the VW Bus T6 with adaptive standard suspension.

When installing, the adaptive standard suspension is replaced by the KW technology and the VW DCC on-board electronics immediately recognizes the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension. All vehicle-specific suspension functions remain and the original control button will of course continue to be used.
